Catfish Bar + Restaurant

The client required an interior for a New Orleans-inspired Cajun dining and bar concept in Crown Heights that would stand apart from the neighborhood’s existing venues — evoking an authentic sense of place and history without resorting to pastiche.

Meshberg Group composed an eclectic material palette of exposed brick, reclaimed wood beams, distressed cedar shingles, rusted metal panels, and antique doors — transforming the space into an atmosphere of rustic warmth and layered character that reflected the restaurant’s Southern culinary identity.
