The Birch House

The challenge was to create a nature-inspired residential community on Jersey City’s West Side that would blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, bringing warmth and organic character to an urban setting with a comprehensive suite of considered amenities.

Meshberg Group curated interiors combining natural materials with bold industrial elements throughout the building. A 20,000-square-foot courtyard garden anchored by towering birch trees serves as the community’s centerpiece, complemented by a 22,000-square-foot rooftop with panoramic views. Distinctive amenity spaces include a speakeasy bar concealed by wooden louvers and planters, a dedicated game room, and private outdoor terraces with garden patios and green-roof balconies.
